We are happy to announce our new board members Marjolein van Noort and Bernd Hendriksen.
Marjolein is an international financial economist and started her career at the Dutch Ministry of Finance. The love for the maritime sector made her switch to Royal IHC en then to sea shipping at the Royal Association of Dutch Shipowners. She is also chairman of the Our Oceans Challenge, she is a member of the WISTA International Technology Committee and a quartermaster for the European Network of Maritime Clusters. Her role at CLEAR RIVERS comes together where, in her view, the water- and maritime sector is about; international cooperation, sustainability, and innovation.
Bernd Hendriksen has more than 20 years of experience working with global public and private companies, developing and applying sustainable business strategies. He has led KPMG Sustainability for 10 years and has spoken on dozens of international conferences. Bernd is a sustainability entrepreneur and lecturer on Consulting Methods and Corporate Social Responsibility at the Amsterdam Business School (UVA).
